Surgical Tech Location: Waco, TX Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,618 to $1,818 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/7/2026 About the Position Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Waco, TX at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the surgical team. This role includes responsibilities in endovascular, open heart, and thoracic specialties and coverage for the Hybrid OR. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment. Experience working in endovascular and hybrid operating room environments or demonstrated ability to support combined surgical and interventional procedures. Willingness and ability to take on-call assignments as required by the service line. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Hybrid OR procedures and familiarity with cardiac and thoracic instrumentation. Previous work in a high-volume OR with multiple cardiac rooms or heart room experience. Assignment Details Shift hours: 06:30–17:00. Work days include Tuesday through Friday, with on-call required. Position will support Endovascular, open heart, thoracic specialties and Hybrid OR coverage. May be required to float to other facilities within the client system.
