About the PositionJob Title: Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Technologist Specialty: Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) required Must-Have: OR/C-arm experience, Fluoroscopy experience preferred Description: Start date needed is June 22. Interviews will be simplified before manager approval. The role will involve rotation between Fluoroscopy, Operating Room, and floating assignments. There will be rotation on weekends and coverage for paid time off. The facility has 89 licensed beds and is a teaching facility. There are three imaging rooms: two general X-Ray rooms and one for Fluoroscopy/Pain Clinic. A traveler with one year of experience will be accepted, but more experience is preferred. Experience as a first-time traveler will also be considered. The patient care areas include outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, intensive care unit, and medical-surgical. The primary patient population consists of adults and geriatrics, with some pediatrics. Typical procedures include Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in the operating room, orthopedic trauma, ICU, and emergency room scans. On average, 25-30 scans are performed daily. Support within the department includes a lead tech, internal transport, and on-site radiologists until late afternoon, after which services switch to remote. Equipment includes various imaging technologies: Siemens, T-Rad, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-arms, and Siemens portable units. The schedule will vary based on departmental needs with weekend rotations. No on-call requirements or specific holiday expectations exist, as these will be handled in rotation with other technologists. Attire for scrubs should be any solid color that is professional.
