Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient care and implementing treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to start
• Must obtain a permanent Virginia state license; compact licensure alone is not sufficient for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
