Description

Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Grass Valley, CA Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $1,900 to $2,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
• Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient treatments and progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA CA license
• Certification (if required by state)
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (SNFexperience a plus)
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA Preferred

• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt as needed
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
