About the PositionMake a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) providing home health care in Portland, OR. You will carry out treatment, implement plans, and document patient status for home health patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role requires reliable transportation for home visits and periodic attendance at office meetings. A recruiter will follow up with the details.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Oregon PTA license or licensure required to practice in the state prior to starting the assignment.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Familiarity with basic computer functions, including email, internet navigation, starting programs, file management, and online training systems.
- Reliable transportation and current driver’s license for home visits.
- Agency-required liability insurance as applicable.
- Experience working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in home health or comparable settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience as a licensed PTA, especially in home health environments.
- Experience completing home health documentation and following physician orders for home-bound patients.

- Shift: Evenings, 5x8 schedule.
- Work involves home visits; must have reliable transportation and agency-required insurance.
