Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
- Evaluate patients and establish care plans
- Provide interventions and patient/family education
- Document interventions and process billing appropriately
- Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
- Participate in orientation of new staff members
- Serve as a clinical instructor for students
- Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases
Requirements of the Physical Therapist
- Valid New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
- 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Experience in Acute Care in a large academic medical setting preferred
- Epic system experience preferred
- Board Certification as Specialist in an applicable area preferred
