Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Omaha, NE Agency: United Health Care Staffing, Inc. Pay: $2,300 to $2,500 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68147! Registered Nurse - ICU Location: Omaha, NE Start Date: 04-27-2026 End Date: 07-27-2026 Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts (NOC), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM; schedule set by unit manager, includes every-other-weekend and holiday rotation Hours per Week: 36 Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care for adult and adolescent ICU patients Assess and monitor ICU patients continuously, interpreting telemetry and advanced hemodynamic data Titrate vasoactive and sedation drips safely and per protocol Manage ventilator support and troubleshoot respiratory equipment from nasal cannula through ventilators Respond to codes and rapid response team activations as a core unit team member Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and advanced providers Document patient care accurately in EPIC and participate in unit quality and safety initiatives Complete unit orientation and demonstrate competencies (including passing the open-book skills exam at required threshold) Knowledge & Skills Critical care nursing and ICU patient assessment Ventilator management and respiratory support troubleshooting Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation (Draeger systems experience a plus) Medication titration and infusion pump management Familiarity with EPIC charting Exposure to advanced devices and procedures (CRRT, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, Swan-Ganz, arterial lines) Experience with neuro-interventional and post-thrombectomy care helpful About United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
