Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.

Content unique to RN #1 (Cardiac CT/CCTA RN):

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac imaging experience
• Assessment of cardiac status
• Administration/titration of beta-blockers and nitroglycerin
• Heart rate control for optimal cardiac image quality
• CCTA-specific workflow and imaging
• Quality improvement initiatives related to cardiac imaging
• Contrast extravasation prevention focus

• Radiology outpatient or Interventional Radiology experience
• CT, MRI, IR, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy preparation
• Medication reconciliation
• NPO status verification
• Renal function/lab review
• Imaging-study verification
• Broader imaging modality coverage

• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Active BLS/ACLS certification
• Strong IV insertion skills
• Ability to access implanted chest ports
• Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM schedule
• Comprehensive pre-procedural patient assessments
• Review of medical history and contraindications
• Establishing and maintaining IV access for contrast administration
• Administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Continuous patient monitoring during procedures
• Patient education and informed consent/procedure expectations
• Responding to emergencies, including contrast reactions and acute clinical events
• Adherence to patient safety standards, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Accurate documentation in the EMR
