Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required.
- State of Maine nuclear medicine license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing PET/CT, bone, renal, cardiac (stress/rest), HIDA, and DEXA scans.
- Experience with Siemens dual head gamma camera and GE IQ PET CT preferred.
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Enterprise Imaging (AGFA) PACS preferred.
- Dosimeter (dose reader badge) required.
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital settings performing ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases.
- Prior experience performing PET/CT as part of daily responsibilities preferred.
- Prior travel or variable-schedule experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern includes rotating start times between 05:30–06:00 and 07:00 when scheduled.
- Typical shift lengths 8–10 hours depending on the day.
- When assigned to PET/CT, PET productivity is approximately 5 patients per day.
- No weekends required. No on-call required.
- Fixed work location. Floating to other facilities is not required.
- Orientation period up to 2 weeks, dependent on skillset and comfort level.
