Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Handle daily caseload of 15-20 patients per tech
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities to be discussed with manager
• Work with various patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Experience required in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, children's hospital, and adult ICU work settings
• Must be proficient in IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS, contrast administration, biopsy procedures, and pacemaker skills
• Perform general MRI exams including cardiac imaging and studies of patients with pacemakers/defibrillators
• Handle various diagnoses including TIA, osteomyelitis, MS, back pain, fall trauma, MVA, dilated CBD, cellulitis, and anesthesia cases
• Required certifications: BLS, advanced MR certification for ARRT or ARMRIT
• Siemens equipment experience required (1 MRI 1.5T, Siemens Espree)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Florida license or compact license required
• Must work weekends, evenings, and on-call holidays
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (100-mile radius rule applies)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
