Job Summary

Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with strong Pediatric Cardiac MRI (CMR) experience for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on congenital cardiac MRI experience in a high-volume pediatric setting.

The selected traveler will work within a nationally recognized children’s hospital providing advanced MRI imaging services for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients. Candidates must have robust experience with pediatric cardiac MRI studies and Siemens MRI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced MRI procedures with a focus on pediatric cardiac imaging
• Conduct congenital cardiac MRI (CMR) studies
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and imaging software
• Perform image acquisition and MRI post-processing
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards
• Accurately document imaging procedures in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric and adolescent patients

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac MRI experience
• Experience in a high-volume, high-complexity pediatric imaging center REQUIRED
• Strong congenital CMR experience REQUIRED
• ARMRIT Certification
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS Certification
• EPIC charting experience REQUIRED
• Siemens MRI equipment experience REQUIRED
• California license in hand or confirmed application status required at submission
