Pay: $2,996.40 weekly
Shifts: Saturday-Monday, 7am - 8pm
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Summit, New Jersey. This role involves working in an outpatient center where you'll utilize your skills to perform MRI scans. Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist
- Position patients on examining table and place specified coil close to area of interest, as per Radiologist protocols
- Demonstrate use of microphone for patient-technologist communication during exams
- Enter patient history and scan specifications into the computer
- Input commands for scan sequences and adjust MRI equipment settings
- Monitor patients for safety and comfort via control room window and CCTV
- Ensure image quality on video display screen
- Input data to photograph images using camera keyboard
- Alert staff to magnet room metal hazards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements of the MRI Technologist
- 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technician
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program
- NJ State RT License
- MR Certified
- BLS Certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
