About the PositionJackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support imaging services in Bryan, TX at a hospital setting. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients, follow physician scanning instructions, operate MRI equipment, and produce diagnostic images consistent with department protocols. Candidates must demonstrate professional conduct and reliable attendance given unit expectations for call and potential floating between nearby campuses.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or MRI.
- MRI advanced level certification and active state licensure required for Texas.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5 preferred; unit experience preferred.
- Experience using MEDITECH preferred.
- Ability to participate in a one-week-at-a-time call rotation with required response time and occasional weekend coverage as described by the unit.
- Willingness and ability to float between Bryan and College Station campuses (approximately 16 minutes apart).
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) preferred.
- Prior experience precepting or training staff preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0600-1500.
- Week pattern: M-F with alternating weekly variations documented by the unit (examples include 0630-1500 one week and 0800-1700 the next plus required call).
- Call rotation: one-week at-a-time (Mon-Fri 1700-0630, Sat-Sun 0630-0630) with a one-hour response time (30 minutes travel, 30 minutes to begin patient scan).
- Average volume: approximately 18 scans per day.
- Orientation: 12 hours.
- May be asked to flex to other duties on low census days.
