American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Details- Night shift position, 18:45–07:15
- Emergency Department unit within a hospital setting
- EMR: Cerner
- Every other weekend required
- Any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift must be worked
- Active FL or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
- CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, updated every 2 years
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- Two professional references required
- Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced local pay rate
- Cerner EMR experience is beneficial given its use on the unit
- Skills checklist and copies of all certifications and license verification required
