Traveler Weekly Blended Pay: $1,785 weekly ($21 per hour on w2 + $945 weekly stipend)
Locals Hourly Pay : $38/Hour
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Job Type: 13-week Contract
Position Summary:
An EEG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to help diagnose neurological conditions and monitor brain activity. They work closely with neurologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and positioning equipment properly.
- Apply electrodes to the patient’s scalp according to established procedures.
- Operate EEG equipment to record electrical activity of the brain.
- Monitor patients during testing and ensure accurate data collection.
- Review and maintain quality recordings for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot EEG equipment.
- Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist physicians with additional neurodiagnostic procedures when needed.
Experience:
- STRONG: Two years of experience
- BLS from AHA
- R.EEGT
