About the PositionSr. Interventional Technologist Full Time

Estimated Salary Range: $162,277 $201,864 per year
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interventional Radiological Technologist to support both Body and Neuro Interventional Radiology services in an acute care hospital environment. This role includes advanced procedural support, clinical leadership responsibilities, and participation in quality improvement and radiation safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in interventional procedures, adaptable to a dynamic clinical environment, and comfortable working across multiple hospital locations with rotating call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist in Body and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
- Circulate and scrub during interventional cases as required
- Support lead/coordinator responsibilities within the IR department
- Participate in quality assurance and radiation safety initiatives
- Assist in training and mentoring staff on advanced procedures
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and imaging teams
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 3 6 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- 3 5 years of experience in a healthcare/acute care setting
- Experience in both Body and Neuro IR required
- ARRT certification required
- CRT licensure required
- BLS (CPR) certification required
- Ability to circulate and scrub during procedures
- Willingness to rotate shifts, weekends, and take call
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
- Ability to work across multiple clinical locations
Preferred Qualifications
- VIR (Vascular Interventional Radiography) certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year
- Recent acute care hospital experience
- Prior experience in teaching or mentoring within IR settings
