Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team in Austell, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, and produce diagnostic quality studies while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires independent judgment, adherence to department procedures, and collaboration with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff.
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification required.
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association or equivalent) upon hire.
- Minimum 1 year radiology experience required.
- Experience with CT imaging procedures, power injector operation, and PACS/RIS workflow required.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and follow contrast administration protocols.
- Ability to verify orders, perform patient identification with two unique identifiers, and follow pre-procedural time-out processes.
- Must demonstrate competency in radiation dose optimization and quality control procedures.
- Must be dependable, flexible with work hours to meet department needs, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
\n- Less than 1 year CT-specific experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in a hospital imaging department preferred.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift hours: 0700-1700.
- Scheduled shift pattern includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00am–5:30pm.
- May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
- Must be willing to take call when necessary.

\nYou will support patient care by producing diagnostically acceptable CT studies, adhering to infection control and regulatory standards, participating in quality assurance, and assisting colleagues across modalities when needed. Responsibilities include patient preparation, monitoring during contrast administration, equipment checks, documentation in RIS/PACS, and maintaining department efficiency and safety.
