Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role assisting physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and invasive procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture data used to establish accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses for patients. Minimum Qualifications Associate Degree or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program. Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty, including Cath Lab hospital experience. Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Ability to follow direction of interventional cardiologists and perform diagnostic invasive and peripheral vascular procedures. Willingness to accept call commitment of one week night and one weekend per month as required by the client. Preferred Qualifications Experience with invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular study procedures. Prior work with advanced cath lab imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Assignment Details Shift hours: 0700 - 1730. Call commitment: one week night and one weekend per month. May be required to float to other facilities within the client system as needed. Your role will support interventional cardiology teams in urban hospital settings and contribute to consistent, high-quality care across facilities. The Hudson River waterfront is a short drive from the city center, and Thacher State Park is approximately 25 miles west for hiking and rock formations. The area supports a mix of cultural venues such as the Albany Institute of History & Art and easy access to I-87 for regional travel.
