Job Summary

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining service to club members and their guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Servers at the country club uphold high standards of hospitality, food presentation, and service while creating a welcoming and refined dining experience consistent with the club's traditions and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests promptly and courteously, using member names when possible
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with club standards and proper etiquette
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Handle payments, member charges, and point-of-sale systems accurately
• Assist with banquets, private events, and special club functions as needed
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (country club or fine dining a plus)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of proper dining etiquette and service techniques
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must possess an Arizona Food Handler Card
