Join us and be part of something bigger - helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.The Retail Pharmacy Operations Analytics team is looking for a Senior Decision Scientist to support RX and immunization growth initiatives.
- Develop and present meaningful and insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations and go forward planning to guide a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Drive self-service capabilities with the business, train business teams on new technical capabilities and how to consume the data effectively, prove out new tools/capabilities quickly through POCs and provide readouts to the management teams.
- Build relationships across the enterprise, working with analytics and data teams for insights and best practice sharing.
- Partner with functional and business stakeholders to understand strategic business analytics requirements
- Provide guidance in driving solutions while delivering successful end results
- Develop strategies aimed to improve business reporting and planning processes utilizing continuous improvement.
- Use data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions
- Work with a sense of urgency, possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and have passion for developing high-performing analytics solutions
Required Qualifications :
- 3+ years of relevant analytic experience
- Experience programming using R or Python
- Experience in SAS or SQL
Preferred Qualifications :
- Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.
- Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
- Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources.
- Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and tools/processes for version control (i.e. git, GitHub) preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Plotly, etc).
Education :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master's degree preferred

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$111,240.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
