Help Shape the Workforce Behind an Alaska Native Corporation with a Nationwide Footprint
At Ahtna, Incorporated, recruiting isn’t transactional — it’s strategic. We are seeking a Recruiter I, II, or III to help attract, engage, and hire talent across a diverse portfolio of subsidiaries supporting federal, commercial, and communitybased work.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys variety, partnership, and complexity — someone who can balance candidate experience, compliance, and business needs while supporting hiring across multiple lines of business.
What You’ll Do
Own the full recruiting lifecycle — from workforce planning and sourcing to selection support and hiring coordination
Partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Shareholder Enrichment, and HR Systems
Recruit for a wide range of roles, including professional, technical, contract, and hardtofill positions
Maintain accurate, compliant applicant and requisition data within recruiting systems
Support Affirmative Action, EEO, and VEVRAA/VETS hiring and reporting requirements
Contribute to process improvement efforts that strengthen efficiency, consistency, and candidate experience
Scope, leadership, and complexity increase by level.

Recruiter I
You’re building your recruiting expertise while managing multiple requisitions, coordinating interviews, and ensuring the daytoday recruiting process runs smoothly and accurately.
Recruiter II
You operate with greater independence, manage fullcycle recruitment for more complex roles, and apply recruiting policies and compliance requirements with confidence.
Recruiter III
You’re a trusted advisor and subjectmatter expert — leading recruiting strategies, supporting workforce planning discussions, mentoring others, and serving as an escalation point for complex hiring and compliance matters across subsidiaries.
Requirements
What You Bring
Recruiter I
Associate’s degree in business, human resources, or related field (experience may substitute 1:1)
3+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition
Ability to juggle multiple requisitions while staying organized and detailoriented
Recruiter II
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field (experience may substitute 1:1)
4+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in recruiting
Experience managing fullcycle recruitment for professional, technical, or hardtofill roles
Recruiter III
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field (experience may substitute 1:1)
6+ years of HR experience, including 4+ years in recruiting
Proven experience leading complex, highvolume, or specialized recruitment across multiple business lines
Strong background in compliancedriven recruiting, strategy development, and process improvement

The annual salary range is based on level:
Level I: $64,398 - $77,922
Level II: $74,498 - $90,888
Level III: $86,189 - $106,012
