Description
The City of Grosse Pointe Park is accepting applications for a part-time Police/Fire Dispatcher. The intent is to bring in at part time and transition to full time within 6 months of hire. More details can be found on the city website HERE.
Requirements
Computer experience required. Applicants will have the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high stress environment. Must be able to communicate clearly and give direction in emergency situations. Prior dispatch experience, including L.E.I.N. and C.L.E.M.I.S., is preferred but not required. Applicants must have a high school degree or GED equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
Miscellaneous Information
Employees will receive generous paid time off, and additional pay for overtime, holidays, and a night shift premium. Tuition reimbursement is also available for college level courses.
