Description- Conduct patient assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
- Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
- Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
- Maintain documentation regarding evaluations, treatment processes, and progress, aligned with institutional and legal protocols
- Partake in collaborative care meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is preferable
- Advanced certifications (e.g., geriatric, neurological) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Preferably previous experience as a therapist
