Description

PHIPPS & BIRD INC., a 100-year-old local manufacturing company, is hiring a Production Utility Person. This position entails prepping and powder coating parts for further processing; sanding; operating machinery; assembly; and other miscellaneous labor duties as assigned.

Candidate must be a self-starter; be safety-conscious; be capable of lifting 75 lbs.; be organized and detail oriented; and be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Machine shop experience, industrial painting/powder coating experience, and a mechanical aptitude are a plus.

Inexperienced individuals will be considered as long as the candidate is ambitious and exhibits an aptitude for production work. Training provided. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Full-time: Hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM, with frequent Friday overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life & accident insurance; ten company paid holidays; Paid Time Off (PTO) and a 401(k) plan.
