Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. Minimum 1 year of experience providing physical therapy in skilled nursing facility or post-acute care settings preferred. Experience with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and mobility aids (e.g., walkers, canes, Hoyer lifts) preferred. Ability to document in electronic medical records and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0800-1630. VMS Contract Weeks: 14-week assignment. VMS Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week. Schedule: Monday through Friday coverage with expectations to support weekend coverage as needed per facility staffing (VMS lists coverage Sun–Sat).
