Primary responsibility of a Pharmacy Service Associate is to work alongside our Pharmacy staff in maintaining accurate and organized delivery records, following CVS policies and procedures in handling and packing Specialty medications, work the computerized delivery system and stocking and ordering of supplies.
Responsibilities
1 . Pack the medication orders according to procedures in preparation for shipping via various carriers for final delivery to the patient. Responsible for proper packing, sealing and labeling of drug order in preparation for shipping. Pack the order following any special packing/shipping instructions. (i.e. Refrigerated, etc.) Perform quality check to ensure that the correct medication order is being sent to the correct patient. Monitor and maintain proper level of packing and shipping materials. 75%
2 . Prepare medication order for shipping. Process address label and affix on proper package. Organize packages according to courier (FedEx, UPS, US Mail) for efficient pick up of orders. 15%
3 . Misc. Duties Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities for stores with walk in customers. • Customer service with includes answering phones, ringing out RX's, handle cash & checks, and assist with customer needs. • Maintain waiting/front store area. • Maintain prescription waiting bin. 10%
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Active WA state Pharmacy Assistant License or WA state Pharmacy Technician License.
- Experience in a customer service or Shipping & Handling environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand on feet all day.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$16.00 - $31.46
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
