OverviewHead Golf Professional
Corpus Christi Country Club | Corpus Christi, Texas
Corpus Christi Country Club is seeking a dynamic, service-driven Head Golf Professional to lead all aspects of golf operations at one of South Texas' most historic and respected private clubs.
Founded in 1922, Corpus Christi Country Club has a rich tradition of championship golf and exceptional member experiences. Originally designed by John Bredemus and later expanded to 18 holes, the Club has continued to evolve while honoring its heritage. Notably, Byron Nelson captured one of his historic 18 victories in 1945 at the Corpus Christi Open held at the Club.
The current course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1965, was recently renovated in 2022 by renowned architect Chet Williams. The project modernized the golf course with updated greens, bunkers, and fairways while maintaining the natural character of the coastal landscape.
With strong membership engagement, growing retail performance, and continued capital improvements-including plans for a new clubhouse-this is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader to elevate the golf program and shape the next chapter of the Club's success.
