Support patients with compassionate, hands‐on care in a structured clinical environment.
We’re seeking dependable and patient‐focused Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for a 13‐week contract assignment. In this role, you’ll work closely with nursing and clinical teams to support patient safety, comfort, and daily care needs—while maintaining professionalism in potentially high‐acuity or behavioral settings.

Schedule

• 13‐week contract
• 12‐Hour Shifts
• 37.5 hours per week
• Day and/or night shifts based on assignment needs

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Support patient safety, observation, and behavioral monitoring as needed
• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and unit activities
• Utilize de‐escalation techniques to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care area
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols
• Document care activities and observations accurately per facility guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Active PCT certification through NHA required *Please have this listed on your resume*
• BLS certification required
• One (1) of the following de‐escalation trainings required:
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
  • MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior)
  • Handle With Care
  • TRUST Training
  • Preventing and Managing Crisis Situations
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCT, CNA, or direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‐stress situations
• Team‐oriented, patient‐centered approach to care
• Reliability and flexibility for contract‐based scheduling
