The Law Office of Jt Fox is a boutique litigation firm led by an attorney with over 26 years of experience and more than 55 trial verdicts.
Our practice spans divorce/family law, business disputes, employment defense, estate planning and personal injury litigation, providing a broad and dynamic litigation environment.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a seasoned trial attorney and gain substantial, hands-on experience across multiple areas of litigation.
About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time law clerk to assist with active litigation matters. This is a substantive, writing-intensive role with direct attorney mentorship—not a purely administrative position.
The ideal candidate is interested in litigation, courtroom strategy, and developing strong legal writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Assist with discovery (propounding, responding, and analysis)
Conduct legal research (Lexis)
Prepare deposition summaries and case analyses
Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
Draft correspondence and client-related materials
Compensation & Schedule:
$25–$30/hour (depending on experience)
10–25 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Hybrid / in-office (Pasadena / Los Angeles area preferred)

Requirements
Qualifications:
Current law student (2L/3L preferred) or recent graduate (post-bar welcome)
Strong legal research and writing skills (writing sample required)
Interest in litigation and trial practice
Prior litigation experience preferred
Familiarity with California procedure is a plus
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadline
