Overview

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests while supporting daily golf operations. This role assists with golf bag handling, cart preparation and maintenance, practice facility operations, and ensuring all outside service areas are clean, organized, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is professional, energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to creating an outstanding golf experience for every guest.

Experience Required

• Previous customer service or golf operations experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift and carry golf bags and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

Member & Guest Services

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival and departure.
• Assist golfers by loading and unloading golf bags and preparing equipment for play.
• Provide information regarding club amenities, golf course etiquette, pace of play, and course conditions.
• Offer post-round support including cleaning clubs, organizing equipment, and delivering bags to vehicles as needed.
• Promote club events, tournaments, and relevant club information to enhance the overall guest experience.

Golf Cart Operations

• Stage, organize, and assign golf carts for daily play.
• Ensure carts are cleaned, charged, fueled (if applicable), and fully operational before use.
• Inspect carts for damage or maintenance issues and report concerns to the Golf Shop or management team.
• Track cart usage and maintain accurate cart rotation procedures.

Practice Facility & Grounds Support

• Set up and maintain practice facilities, including driving range and short-game areas.
• Stock and replenish range balls, bag stands, water stations, towels, and other supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, bag storage areas, parking lot, practice facilities, and Pro Shop entrance.
• Ensure all outdoor areas remain safe, clean, and free of debris throughout the day.

Team Collaboration & Operations

• Work closely with Golf Shop staff, starters, marshals, and other golf operations team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Complete daily assignments and operational tasks according to club standards.
• Support Golf Shop organization and assist with maintaining fully stocked work areas.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and provide exceptional service in all interactions with members, guests, and team members.
• Adhere to all safety policies and promote safe working practices.
• Participate in daily team briefings and ongoing training opportunities.
• Take initiative in personal and professional development and maintain any required certifications or training.
