You’ll work with a diverse caseload of upper extremity conditions — from traumatic injuries to postoperative care — helping patients regain independence, function, and confidence.
What You’ll Do
Deliver highquality evaluations, treatment plans, and ongoing care for patients with upper extremity injuries and overuse syndromes.
Provide advanced wound care, including debridement and monitoring of healing progress.
Fabricate and adjust custom splints to support recovery and functional outcomes.
Guide patients through meaningful, goaloriented therapy that improves daily living and quality of life.
Support injured workers in rebuilding the skills needed to safely return to the workforce.
Collaborate with therapy technicians and interdisciplinary partners to ensure exceptional patient care.
Build strong relationships with referral sources, facilities, and staff to enhance patient experience and continuity of care.
Stay current with best practices through continuing education, professional development, and engagement with industry organizations.
What You Bring
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
National registration and state licensure required.
At least one year of experience in custom splinting for pre and postoperative orthopedic care, or prior COTA experience in hand therapy.
HTCC/CHT certification preferred (or interest in pursuing it).
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a patientcentered mindset.
Excellent organization, documentation, and timemanagement abilities.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting PHI.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift at least 15 pounds independently using proper biomechanics.
Frequent walking, bending, standing, and reaching throughout the workday.
Adequate visual acuity for patient assessment and documentation.
Clear verbal communication and hearing abilities for patient interaction.
Fine motor skills for splint fabrication, equipment handling, and accurate documentation.
