Base Salary: Starting at $50,500 (based on experience and education)

Position Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, standardsaligned instruction appropriate to grade level and subject area
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Participate in required professional learning and school activities

Qualifications

Valid Iowa teaching license (or ability to obtain)
Endorsement appropriate to the teaching assignment
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to student growth and academic success
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Work Schedule

Fulltime, following the Shenandoah CSD academic calendar
