About the Position

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population within a 22-bed ED.
• Collaborate effectively with advanced practice providers and nursing staff to manage patient flow and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform essential emergency procedures as required by department protocols.
• Participate in a physician-led culture focused on clinical excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications & Credentialing

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
• Experience: Must have at least 12 months or 2,000 hours of experience in Emergency Medicine. This position is not open to new graduates.
• Licensure: A valid Ohio medical license must be held or be in process.
• Documentation: Candidates must provide a comprehensive list of experienced procedures, a most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days), and proof of COVID vaccination status.
• Compliance: A clean malpractice and licensing history is required.
• DEA: A valid DEA registration must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Submissions: Please disclose if visa support (J1 or H1B) is required, though current priorities favor candidates not requiring visa sponsorship. Candidates must not have applied directly to the healthcare facility previously.

Our client provides flexible contracting options, allowing physicians to choose the structure that best fits their professional needs. Compensation is competitive and based on the chosen employment track:

• 1099 Independent Contractor rate: $250/hr (all-inclusive).
• W2 Employee rate: $240/hr (all-inclusive).
• Night Shift Differential: An additional $10/hr is available for candidates dedicated to working night shifts.
• W2 Benefits Package: Includes Health, Dental, and Vision insurance with HSA options, a $250,000 group life policy, a 401k with company contribution, and a $3,000 CME allowance.
