Overview

As a key member of the property's golf operations team, the Guest Service Attendant reports to the Proshop Manager or Assistant Golf Pro and attends to golfers prior to tee off and after the golf round is completed, while supporting the golf cart fleet, driving range, and marshalling as needed.

Experience Required

• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Current Driver's License
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays and extended hours during golf and holiday season

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance
• Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
• Clean, fuel, and check carts after each use
• Clean and maintain the cart barn
• Ensure carts are available for player use at all times
• Receive and communicate complaints to the General Manager/Proshop Manager
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Attend to the driving range area, including maintaining the tee area and picking the range, as needed
• Marshal the course as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
