Pine Canyon Club, a private 18-hole facility in Flagstaff, AZ, is looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Agronomy team. We are looking to fill a full-time, seasonal position. Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is a plus but is not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Typical schedule is an 8hr day (5am to 1:30). Seasonal demands of the golf calendar occasionally require workdays in excess of 10 hrs. Conversely, 5-hour shifts are also part of our schedule. Happy to discuss a schedule that works best for each potential new employee.

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper:

• One-month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
