Job Title: Greenskeeper - Golf Course Maintenance Crew Member

Location: Chick Evans Golf Course, Morton Grove, IL

Pay: $15-$18 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

Chick Evans Golf Course is looking for dependable individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team as Greenskeepers. This role helps maintain the course by mowing turf, maintaining bunkers, and assisting with daily course setup to ensure great playing conditions for golfers. No golf course experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough
• Rake bunkers and maintain sand areas
• Set cups and tee markers for daily play
• Operate mowers and other turf equipment
• Assist with irrigation checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of the course and surrounding areas
• Assist with seasonal projects such as aeration and topdressing

Requirements:

• Reliable and able to work early mornings
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Schedule:

• Early morning shifts (typically 5:00-6:00 AM start)
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
