Description
Earn your Masters Degree as you also grow your coaching career. Clarke University invites applications for a graduate assistant coaching position in the men's volleyball program. Responsibilities include assisting with the operation and management of the sports program in accordance with university and NAIA philosophies. - Recruitment of prospects
- Designing and running practices
- Film study and creating scouting reports
- Individual and positional player development
- In game management.
- Program administration and logistics: travel, budgeting, fundraising, communication, scheduling
- Oversee team's strength and conditioning program and be able to work with strength coach.
- Monitor and oversee player mental management and mindfulness routines and programs.
- Statistics and analytics
Hours are flexible during the Fall/Winter. Travel to away contests and team events is required. You will get the opportunity to learn and grow in whatever aspects of coaching that you would like. If head coaching is a future goal of yours, we will help you achieve that. Previous playing and/or coaching experience is required.
