Excellent opportunity in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for BC/BE, fellowship trained glaucoma specialist to join an established, successful, and progressive multi-specialty ophthalmology group in the Asheville/Hendersonville, North Carolina area. This is a partnership track position, as we are preparing for regional growth. We welcome inquiries from both new graduates and established mid-career surgeons. This is a high growth opportunity requiring a candidate who is self-motivated to promote a referral base. The individual we seek should possess strong communication skills and should be confident in his/her own professional skill set.
Candidates will have demonstrated excellent surgical skills and graduated from an accredited glaucoma fellowship program. The ability to work alongside peers and staff in a collaborative, team-oriented environment is essential. Candidates will possess outstanding bedside manner with patients and place patient service as their top priority. The practice offers an exceptional technical and business support team to assist with the success of this position. The physicians and staff take pride in offering excellent patient care and personal service.

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE: In 2025, our practice celebrated 45 years of service to the Western North Carolina community. We are comprised of 10 physicians with approximately 90 employees and four locations in Western North Carolina, including offices in Hendersonville, Asheville, Skyland and Columbus. We also maintain satellite locations in Waynesville and Spruce Pine, North Carolina. Our practice specialties include cornea, cataracts, glaucoma and retina. Call is shared equally among the physicians. We enjoy an excellent reputation in the community and have a large, established referral base.
