Antelope Hills Golf Club, located in Prescott, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a General Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Antelope Hills Golf Courses is seeking an experienced, innovative, and service-driven professional to lead one of Arizona's most respected municipal golf facilities as its next General Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a premier 36-hole operation with a strong community reputation, outstanding year-round play, and significant tournament, food and beverage, and event business potential. The General Manager will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of golf operations, guest experience, financial performance, staff development, and community engagement while helping shape the continued growth and success of this flagship recreational destination.
Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for property management and leadership. As General Manager, you will be responsible for directing and administering all aspects of the operation, including coordination and administration of the property's policies and procedures. Previous supervisory experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and expenses as well as generating various (weekly, monthly, etc.) business volume forecasts.
- Monitors monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.
- Establishes basic personnel policy, initiates and establishes basic personnel policy, initiates and monitors policies relating to personnel actions and training along with professional development programs.
- Ensures all Human Resources procedures and policies are followed by management staff.
- Develops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan and initiates improvements as necessary.
- Attends workshops and meetings to keep abreast of current information and developments.
- Oversees the care and maintenance of all the facility's physical assets and each individual facility.
- Coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers.
- Ensures the highest standards for food and beverage service on property.
- Implements policies and procedures for multiple departments, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Directly manages department members.
- Assures that each new Associate receives effective orientation and training.
- Develops and implements ongoing training programs.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Education & Experience:
- Prefer minimum 5 years related experience in as General Manager at a club.
- A four-year college degree preferred, but not required.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail.
- Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess the ability to coordinate projects and delegate responsibility.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
