Description
I'm looking to hire a family law associate. I'm happy to train you. In fact, I'd rather you not have spent several years learning a bunch of nonsense that I have to get you to unlearn. However, what I do require is that you have a real interest in learning and practicing family law. Practically speaking, the best way to demonstrate this is to have a full year of practicing family law. If that's you, then read on.
The firm is very collegial and informal. I am a ton of fun to be around. The job is in office, but that's mainly to facilitate firm culture and you becoming a better lawyer. I do not have a punch clock. If you want to leave early or take a day and can manage your calendar like a grown up, then that's fine. The billable requirement is 130 hours per month. The firm offers the standard suite of benefits (health, 401k).
If interested, send me a legal memorandum that you filed with the superior court of Washington (in family law and preferably less than ten pages). And a resume.
