Newton & Hall is a criminal defense firm headquartered in Kent, WA.  We currently have four attorneys, who provide our clients with defense services throughout the Puget Sound area.  We are seeking to add a criminal defense attorney to our ranks.  This position will involve handling cases in municipal, district, superior, and federal courts.

Requirements

Competitive candidates will have experience in Washington either defending or prosecuting criminal cases, as well as civil protection orders.  At first, this position will entail handling mostly misdemeanor level offenses, but would likely evolve into a greater level of felony matters with the right candidate.  We are looking for a smart lawyer who is empathetic to our client's situations, and is able to offer them assistance in what may be their greatest time of need.  Great personal skills are a must, as well as a hardworking attitude.
