Experienced Business Attorney—Portland, Oregon (Hybrid Position)
Miller Nash is looking to grow our established business & corporate team by adding an experienced individual with 10+ years of experience to our Portland office’s key business practice.
Miller Nash’s business attorneys bring a wealth of experience when advising the Pacific Northwest's leading businesses. We advise and counsel clients in a wide range of industries, including financial institutions, consumer products & services, manufacturing, technology, and energy. Our clients range from small businesses with strong local reputations to large companies with substantial national and international operations headquartered or doing business in our region. The ideal candidates for this opportunity will have experience with corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, securities and securities transactions, strategic partnerships, and commercial contracts, as well as a passion for partnering with clients to meet their goals and providing superior client service. Experience with real estate transactions is a plus.
Candidates must have a portable, established client base to be considered for this role. Candidates must be a member of the Oregon State Bar Association or eligible for reciprocity. California, Idaho, or Washington State Bar license is a plus. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available to all Miller Nash attorneys; fully remote options may be considered.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $220,000 annually. (The posted range reflects the expected base salary for this role based on factors such as years of experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant considerations. The exact offer within this range will depend on the selected candidate’s background.)
- In addition to base salary, the position is eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to established targets for billings, collections, and billed hours, and discretionary bonus opportunities. Full details regarding bonus eligibility, structure, and potential will be provided in the candidate’s contract.
- Total compensation can significantly exceed the base salary range depending on individual performance, billable hours, and firm results.
