- Executive Assistant to the CEO
Description
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer. This individual helps manage the CEO’s priorities through the coordination of confidential communications, scheduling, travel and external engagements, preparation of presentation materials and written reports, and other support as needed. Serving as a trusted partner to the CEO, the Executive Assistant plays an important role in ensuring the office operates smoothly, efficiently, and with a consistent standard of excellence.
Principal responsibilities include managing the CEO’s calendar by scheduling appointments and meetings, resolving competing priorities, and ensuring the CEO is well prepared and on time for each engagement. The Executive Assistant also coordinates travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries, and supports a range of special projects that arise in the course of the role.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a closely related role. Exceptional organizational ability, sound judgment, flexibility, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach. The Foundation follows a 35-hour workweek for full-time positions. This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including additional hours, evenings, and weekends, as needed to support the CEO.
