What You Will Do- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Implement physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals to enhance patient outcomes
- Offer education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
- Engage actively in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to support coordinated and comprehensive care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
- CPR certification is preferred
- Additional certifications in specialties (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
- Prior experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
