Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across inpatient or outpatient settings and curate personalized treatment plans
• Implement various physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with medical teams including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families on treatment objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimens
• Carefully document evaluations, interventions, and patient progress in alignment with facility protocols and standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and discussions to promote holistic patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferably CPR certified
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Strongly preferred prior clinical experience
