Join a collaborative perioperative team as a locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a newly built ambulatory surgery center with affiliated hospitals in beautiful Saint Augustine, Florida. This locum CRNA opportunity offers general anesthesia experience across multiple surgical specialties while enjoying the coastal charm and historic sites of the area. Job Details- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
- Start Date: As soon as possible; must be able to start by June 1, 2026
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (8-hour days)
- Shifts per Week: 5 (full-time; 20 shifts per month required)
- On Call/Weekends: No call, no weekends
- Weekly Estimated Pay: 7,390 – 7,790
- Location: Saint Augustine, Florida (32086) — local Florida CRNA jobs / anesthesia jobs in Saint Augustine
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Board Certified
- Active Florida license required (must provide copy of out-of-state driver’s license at presentation if applicable)
- Only out-of-state candidates will be accepted for this position. Florida residents are not eligible.
- Minimum 2 years recent CRNA experience with 24 months of case logs
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- 100% clean file required
- Open availability and ability to commit to full-time locum assignment (5 shifts per week)
- Strict eligibility requirement: Candidates cannot have worked at this site or any affiliated site within the past 24 months or within 50 miles of this site. New candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the site.
- Must be able to start by June 1, 2026 and participate in a call or Zoom interview with clinical leadership
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics (total joint), GYN, GI, urology, podiatry, ENT, and neuro
- Work within a care team model in both ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and hospital settings
- Perform spinal and regional anesthesia (including for total joint procedures) as indicated
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and advanced practice providers to ensure efficient OR and perioperative flow
- Maintain accurate documentation in SIS (surgery center) and Cerner (hospital) electronic medical records
- Participate in cross-credentialing and orient to affiliated hospitals as required
