Locums - St. Augustine, Florida, CRNA Opening

Start Date: 6/1/26
Assignment Length: Ongoing Need

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Monday–Friday only
• 5x8-hour shifts required weekly
• 7:00am–3:00pm
• No call
• No weekends
• Full-time coverage only
• Must be available to work 20 shifts per month

Candidate Requirements:

• Only out-of-state candidates accepted
• Candidate must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Must provide copy of out-of-state driver’s license with presentation

Practice Setting & Coverage:

• Cross-credentialed at 5 facilities
• Care Team model
• Mostly medically directed anesthesia model
• Fast-paced orthopedic-focused environment

Case Types:
Surgery Center:

• 100% Orthopedics

Hospital Cases Include:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• GYN
• GI
• Urology
• Podiatry
• ENT
• Neuro

Majority of cases are General Surgery and Orthopedics.

Clinical Workflow & Team Structure:

• 4 OR care team model at St. Augustine site
• MDs perform most peripheral nerve blocks
• APPs primarily staff OR rooms
• Significant total joint volume under spinal anesthesia
• Spinals often performed by APPs
• Collaborative supervision environment with shared workflow responsibilities
• Providers work in a fast-paced practice with efficient OR turnover times

EMR Systems:

• Surgery Center: SIS
• Hospital: Cerner

Requirements:

• Active Florida license – Required
• NBCRNA – Required
