The Opportunity
Eden II Programs has been a leader in providing evidence-based services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for nearly 50 years. We are seeking a visionary and empathetic CEO to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth.
You’ll be the champion for our students and participants, the strategist behind our expansion, and the steady hand guiding a dedicated team of educators, clinicians, and support staff. If you have a passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a demonstrated history of the experience and grit needed to navigate the non-profit landscape, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Partner with the Board of Trustees to refine and execute a long-term strategic plan.
- Ensure all programs remain rooted in the highest standards of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Foster a culture of transparency, inclusion, and professional excellence across all sites.
2. Operational & Financial Stewardship
- Oversee a $50m+ operating budget, ensuring fiscal health and long-term sustainability.
- Navigate complex state and federal funding streams (including OPWDD and State Education Department regulations).
- Optimize internal operations to ensure resources are directed where they matter most: to the individuals we serve.
3. Fundraising & Advocacy
- Serve as the primary "face" of Eden II, building relationships with donors, foundations, and government officials.
- Lead capital campaigns and diversified fundraising efforts to support program innovation.
- Advocate for policy changes that improve the lives of those on the autism spectrum.
4. Team Development
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a diverse staff of educators, clinicians, direct support and administrative professionals.
- Prioritize staff retention and professional development in a competitive labor market.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (PhD or BCBA-D preferred).
- Experience: At least 10 years of senior leadership experience, specifically within the non-profit or disability services sector.
- Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ABA, New York State regulatory agencies (OPWDD, SED, etc.), and needs of individuals and families impacted by ASD.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking and writing skills; the ability to "tell the story" of Eden II to any audience.
- Heart: A genuine commitment to the mission of empowering people with autism to achieve their full potential.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $250,000-$325,000. Eden II also offers an attractive benefit package.
