Camp Host (Seasonal, Part-Time)

Looking for a role where you’re outdoors, meeting new people, and making a real impact on someone’s experience? CampWay is hiring Camp Hosts to help create smooth, welcoming, and memorable stays for our retreat groups, families, and summer guests.
At CampWay, we believe in simple, meaningful experiences rooted in connection—to nature and to each other. As a Camp Host, you’ll be the go-to person guests rely on from arrival to departure.

We’re a growing hospitality and outdoor education company based in Prescott, Arizona, operating across multiple sites including Friendly Pines Camp, Prescott Pines & Frontier Village, and the Yavapai College campus.

What You’ll Do
When you’re on shift, you’re the face of CampWay. You’ll help guests feel welcome, informed, and supported throughout their stay.
You’ll:
Greet arriving groups and lead a friendly, informative orientation
Help guests get settled and know what to expect
Check in regularly and stay visible and approachable
Coordinate with kitchen, program, and operations teams
Respond to guest needs in real time—big or small
Carry the guest support phone during on-call shifts (including some overnights)
Troubleshoot calmly and escalate when needed
Schedule & Expectations
Part-time, seasonal role with variable hours
Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight on-call
Arrival days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Overnight on-call shifts include guaranteed pay—even if no calls come in

Work Environment
This is an active, outdoor role across CampWay’s properties. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor work, changing weather conditions, and a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Requirements:
Must be 21+ years old
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to respond to guest needs and handle first-response situations
Helpful (but not required):
Experience in hospitality, customer service, camps, or similar roles
