Description
Gardner Law is a small to mid-size San Antonio law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing Probate Litigation team.
Our probate litigation practice focuses on complex and sensitive matters including will contests, trust disputes, contested guardianships, and estate administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking hands-on litigation experience while working closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in probate litigation and/or estate administration and will assist with managing cases from initial filing through resolution.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior attorneys with probate litigation matters
Manage and organize case files
Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparation
Conduct legal research and legal analysis
Review estate planning, trust, and probate documents
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Assist with overall case strategy and litigation support

Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in probate litigation, estate administration, or civil litigation preferred
